US firm with 'limited operations' wants to buy Dorset reseller

CLP Computer Office Supplies looks set to be bought by a US company called Geo Vision International Group, for an undisclosed amount of stock and cash. The press release is somewhat ambiguous. The headline reads: "Geo Vision International Group to Acquire CLP UK". But the first sentence says GEO is "negotiating acquiring" CLP.
CLP is based in Blandford Forum, Dorset and flogs office and computer products through its website and by mail order.
Geo Vision is something of a mystery. This is what it has to say for itself:
For the past 10 years Geo Vision International Group Inc. has had limited operations. The company's management is anticipating further growth for Geo Vision through additional planned mergers and acquisitions in the Internet and direct marketing arena in the future.
That sounds like a cash shell with a new team that wants to do something with the money. ®
